The solution

AN ACTIVE
SYSTEM
WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Where passive gel vests melt, overheat, or require heavy recharging logistics, Tempesta delivers real-time bidirectional thermal control with no interruption to activity.

Active cooling AND heating
Where a gel vest melts from 15°C, Tempesta keeps precise electronic control, in both directions.
Real-time control via central button
Touch interface built directly into the vest. Instant adjustment without removing your PPE.
2 removable front batteries
Hot-swap in 10 seconds. Continuous battery life during long operations. Universal USB-C charging.
Discreet design, integrates into any PPE
3 sizes available (XS-S, M-L, XL-XXL), thickness < 10 mm. Compatible with safety vests, diving suits, ballistic gear.
Responsive after-sales service, Made in Europe manufacturing
Designed in France, manufactured in France & Italy. Assembly by YMCA Services Occitanie · inclusive integration with Esatitude/Esatim. Guaranteed field support.

THE SCIENCE
BEHIND
TEMPESTA

01
Active principle
PELTIER EFFECT

The Peltier thermoelectric module transfers heat from one face to the other depending on the direction of the electric current. The result: bidirectional active cooling or heating, with no compressor and almost no noise.

Technology

AN EMBEDDED
MICROFLUIDIC
SYSTEM

Tempesta is built on two independent thermo-fluidic circuits: one dedicated to active cooling, the other to heating. Each circuit is driven by Peltier-effect modules - technology born from space instrumentation and embedded nuclear systems.

The heat-transfer fluid circulates in a closed loop through a network of micro-channels integrated into the back of the vest. Within seconds of activation, the wall temperature reaches the target setpoint. No gel, no reservoir, no logistical constraints.

Why is Peltier superior?
Unlike passive gel vests, the Peltier effect enables continuous heat exchange without progressive loss. The temperature remains stable for the entire duration of the operation - 3.5 hours on a full charge.

Central control

PRESS.
THAT'S IT.

The central button shared across the Tethys range, on the chest of the vest. Click to cycle through the six modes — the ring takes the colour of the active mode, readable at a glance even with gloves.

OFF

System powered down. A long press wakes the vest.

Visual simulation — ring colours as per the user manual

SIMPLIFIED
MAINTENANCE

The electronic system is removable in 30 seconds. The textile layer machine-washes at 30°C like standard PPE. The technical components (Peltier, batteries, circuits) stay protected and durable.

  • Electronics removed in 30 seconds
  • Machine washing at 30°C allowed for the textile part
  • IP54-sealed technical components
  • No specific maintenance for the microfluidic circuit
