Active industrial sites

Industrial cleaning operatives working in extreme thermal conditions: +40°C in summer in some production areas. Wearing personal protective equipment worsens the thermal load and accelerates operator fatigue during peak activity.

Significant reduction in thermal fatigue at exposed workstations
Operational performance maintained during heat waves
Improved perceived comfort among field teams
Progressive rollout across 4 active industrial sites

"The Tempesta has been a real game changer for our teams on the hottest sites. We see the difference in end-of-day fatigue - operatives stay effective right through to the end of the shift."

Alertness at high-risk stations

Steelworks operators exposed to the radiant heat of the blast furnaces, combined with heavy PPE: flame-retardant suits, thermal protection, full-face helmets. Thermal overload causes accelerated muscle fatigue and an increased risk of operational error.

Positive trial results from the very first weeks of use
Reduced heat stress among trial operators
Improved alertness at high-risk workstations
Larger-scale deployment under consideration at the site

"In the blast furnace environment, every degree counts. The Tempesta delivers a real thermal delta that translates directly into the quality of execution of sensitive operations."

Seasons deployed continuously

Two officers of the Police Municipale (Mandelieu Municipal Police) trialed the system during summer patrols and public events on the Côte d'Azur, subject to mandatory body armor and Mediterranean heat that can exceed 35°C. Long patrols lasting several hours generate cumulative heat stress that affects alertness and responsiveness.

Significantly improved thermal comfort under body armor
Alertness maintained on long summer patrols
Reduced heat-related fatigue during extended duty
Fits into existing equipment without modification

"In summer, under the vest, it quickly becomes unbearable. With the Tempesta, officers stay operational and focused for their entire shift. It makes a real difference in the field."

FAQ

All your questions about the Tempesta - performance, integration, acquisition and regulatory compliance.

Question not listed here? Contact our team.

What is the system's temperature range? +
Operates from −20°C to +50°C. A 40°C delta versus ambient temperature guaranteed under standard conditions. The system automatically switches to heating or cooling mode based on body temperature and the detected environment.
What are the concrete benefits for workers in extreme environments? +
Measurable reduction in thermal fatigue, sustained alertness during long exposure, fewer heat- and cold-related accidents, and better performance and concentration on high-risk tasks. Field feedback also shows a reduction in the psychological stress associated with extreme conditions.
Is the Tempesta visible or bulky under PPE? +
The Tempesta comes in 3 sizes covering all body types: XS-S (57 cm long), M-L (67 cm), XL-XXL (77 cm). Less than 10 mm thick. It fits discreetly into any existing PPE: safety vests, industrial coveralls, body armor, diving suits. No structural modification of the PPE is required.
What does it cost and what are the acquisition options? +
Three options depending on your usage: monthly rental (ideal for a trial or seasonal peak), annual rental (continuous deployment with service included), purchase (long-term integration into your PPE fleet). Tailored quote based on headcount and sector. Contact us for a simulation suited to your needs.
Is the Tempesta compatible with PPE already in use? +
Yes. The Tempesta is designed to fit into any existing PPE without modification: safety vests, flame-retardant coveralls, body armor, diving suits, work jackets. Available in 3 sizes (XS-S 57 cm, M-L 67 cm, XL-XXL 77 cm) and less than 10 mm thick, it does not restrict movement or add any extra burden for the operator.
What are the delivery lead times for an initial deployment? +
The indicative lead time between quote approval and delivery is 4 to 12 weeks depending on volume. For an initial pilot (1 to 5 units), the lead time is generally shorter. A personalized schedule is drawn up in consultation with your operations manager. French-Italian manufacturing guarantees short supply chains and controlled lead times.
What is the battery life in real-world conditions? +
The Tempesta delivers 3.5 hours of battery life per battery in continuous use. Recharging is done via universally available USB-C. For continuous shifts, we recommend the rotation system with a removable spare battery (10-second hot-swap), included in the annual rental and purchase offers.
