The context: production areas above 40°C
GSF Cleaning & Services industrial cleaning crews work in extreme thermal conditions: over 40°C in summer in some production areas. Wearing personal protective equipment increases the thermal load and accelerates operator fatigue during peak activity.
Four sites equipped since July 2024
GSF deploys the Tempesta vest across four industrial sites: Bugey (EDF), Tereos, O-I Glass Béziers and Wingles — from nuclear to glassmaking and food processing.
Field results
Feedback converges: +30% operator comfort during peak activity, a significant reduction in heat fatigue at exposed workstations, and sustained operational performance during heatwaves. Deployment continues progressively across the four sites.
The testimonial
"The Tempesta has really been a game changer for our teams on the hottest sites. We see the difference in end-of-day fatigue – agents stay effective until the end of the shift."
Alexandre Bernard, Branch Manager, GSF Cleaning & Services
